We hear it's the thing to do...

If you're thinking about bringing us something for the celebration, remember bringing yourselves is the best gift of all.  We struggled with the registry tradition; neither of us wanted to endorse a big box store.  However, as family was adamant it is a kindness to our guests to have a list, we decided to use a new list service, non-wedding themed.  Its advantages are that we can link to lots of different places, describe all sorts of things, and add non-material items, but the drawback is that to see all the details and check off items one does need to log on.   If you do not want to create your own personal account for this service, we have created a dummy account anyone can use to log in and access all the features of the list.  To use this dummy account, log in as amici_familiaresque [at] yahoo [dot] com and also email us for the password.  The password will come back to you as an auto response.  Once you're logged on click on 'groups' and then click on 'Liv N Daniel'.  Once you're in the list, clicking on an item will give you more information about each item.

Clarification: to check off items from the list click on "Browse and Reserve Gifts" and then click the little picture of a lock next to an item to reserve it or the little picture of present to indicate you've purchased it.

"Preception" A.K.A. "Bikes and Beers"

Brian, the awesome owner of Red Lantern, our favorite bike shop, has agreed to let us hold our send-off event at his place 23 February, 8.30 pm onward.  It will be a very casual, after-dinner thing: jeans required.  Just some drinks, some good people, and some good music. Directions via Google Maps.
